We restored a wrought iron railing for a DE client a number of years ago. And had great success in bringing the iron railings to their former glory!
The client was installing a limestone gazebo as part of the landscape upgrade. They were unhappy with the forged iron dome top provided, and asked if we could create one for them. Based on our experience in iron railing railing design, they asked if we could create a scroll design iron dome top.
So we did an entire iron scroll design, making the scrolls curve both horizontally and vertically to conform to the correct dimensions. We created the whole top as one entire unit, through the blasting, preheat, prime, and powder-coat processes. We then utilized a crane to set it in place, and it really complimented the gazebo and the landscape of this Delaware property.
